Pegasus Dental IT, LLC (“Pegasus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at pegasusdentalit.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you visit the Site or contact us.

Scope — please read. This policy covers the marketing website only. It does not cover the Argus application or any patient information (protected health information, or “PHI”) processed through it. Argus and any PHI are handled under a separate written services agreement and Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with each dental practice, not this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book a call, send us an email, or otherwise reach out, we collect what you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, the name of your practice or company, and anything you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage data through analytics — such as your IP address (which our analytics provider may shorten or anonymize), browser and device type, the pages you view, the site you came from, approximate location, and date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

To respond to your inquiries and schedule and hold calls with you.
To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use the Site to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use this information for third-party advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Because we do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, disabling analytics will not affect your ability to use the Site.

Google — website analytics (Google Analytics) and appointment scheduling and email (Google Calendar and Google Workspace).

How long we keep it

We keep information you send us for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s settings.

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
